About Us
The 351 Silver Star Royal Canadian Air Cadet Unionville Squadron formed on September
10th, 1987. Since then, we continued to work with the Canadian Armed Forces and the Air
Cadet League of Canada to deliver high quality training programs and activities
in Markham Ontario to youth of age 12 to 18.
Our Cadets
Today, our squadron has grown to serve a diverse group of over 200 cadets - making
us one of the largest squadrons in Canada. The Cadet program provides a dynamic
program providing structure and discipline to Canadian youth. Through a variety
of challenging yet rewarding activities, cadets develop leadership, good citizenship,
and physical fitness, while stimulating interest in Aviation.
Our cadets are the driving force behind the operations of our squadron. They are
given ample opportunities to assume responsibilities to achieve personal growth
in a complementary team environment.

Our Staff
The local squadron consists of a number of key staff ranging from Reservists in
the Instructors Cadre members, Civilian Instructors, and Volunteers.
All members have their respective full time employments or are post-secondary students and use their spare time to run the squadron.
